Since I couldn't find the mcfp format for writting fluid cache files in maya I decided to write my own importer to get a fluid simulation into maya. This is a specialized script that works very much like marching cubes...please contact me if you would like to know more.
This script will search for occluded nodes within a given set of optical markers over the span of each take in the file. Upon completion it will report the number of frames that each node was occluded as well as the total number of occluded frames per take and per file.
Place this script within the main root directory of a standard maya project and run it. It will search for missing frames within the images directory and report any missing frames along with the option to render out those missing frames.
This patch creates a trip-fold warp effect on an incoming video stream by allowing the user to determine how many pixels (or %) wide the center 1/3 must be. The outer thirds then accomodate for this.
